5. Glenelg

 7. City of Adelaide Golf Links

Wrapping around the west and south of beautiful North Adelaide, these two fully watered courses cater for all levels of golfers. Majestic trees and wonderful views of the city and Adelaide Hills make this one of the most envied public courses in Australia. The par 3 course (18 holes) is ideal for the family, casual or social groups and is a good introduction to golf. Located on Strangways Terrace, North Adelaide. Par 3 on War Memorial Drive.

8. Barossa Valley

The Barossa is Australia's best-known wine region. Comprising of the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley, it is home to some of the oldest Shiraz vineyards in the world, acclaimed Rieslings and iconic wine brands. Hahndorf has plenty of souvenir shops, craft outlets and galleries, including the Hahndorf Academy, which exhibits work by local artists and houses a small German migration museum. Don't miss the German Arm's Hotel for lunch, strawberry picking at the Beerenberg farm and visit the former home and studio of Sir Hans Heysen - The Cedars.

10. Botanic Gardens

A historic garden within walking distance of the city centre featuring glorious green landscapes, avenues of mature trees, wisteria arbors, a Sacred Lotus pond, a unique Victorian Palm House which has recently been restored and the internationally acclaimed Bicentennial Conservatory for tropical plants.
